The funeral of Mrs. Anna
Alexander was held in the M. E. church Wednesday afternoon at Kilmore, Rev. A.
M. Hagenbook officiating, interment in the Kilmore cemetery. Mrs. Alexander was
seventy-three years, ten months and six days old at her death, which occurred
at her son’s, S. D. Alexander, of Kingman, Ind. She was the wife of John
Alexander, deceased; was a member of the M. E. church of Kilmore. She is
survived by three sisters and one brother, two step-sons, William J. of
Frankfort, and Alfred S. of Iowa. Three sons and one daughter, S. D. Alexander,
of Kingman, Ind.; Val and Clinton, of this city, and Mrs. F. T. Michael, of
Kilmore. She was a woman of many good qualifications, a pleasant disposition
and inviting friendship and while she lived past the alloted time of man, three
score years and ten, we keenly feel her departure, but believe by knowing her
Christian life and noble character that she has only gone to that better and
higher mansion prepared for those that live the life such as hers.—Frankfort
