COVINGTON — Jack Lee Albea, 76, Covington, died at 11:14 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica, following a long illness. He was born Feb. 4, 1931 in Covington, the son of Edward and Kearney (Brasker) Albea. He was a life resident of Covington and a graduate of Covington High School. He was a Navy veteran of Korea. He was a barber for 50 years before retiring. He was a member of Worship On The Point Church, Danville. He was a devoted railroad buff. Survivors include: a son, Clifford Albea, Attica; three grandchildren; and two nephews, Mike (Nancy) Henderson, Carmel and Joe (Susan) Henderson, Covington. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Gravesite services and burial were at 3 p.m. Friday in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington, with Tom Schoenherr officiating. Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, was in charge of arrangements. – jlr
