COVINGTON, Ind. — Edward Albea, 87, a resident of Covington since 1904, died at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 31, 1967 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He had been ill since October. He had been a barber in Covington for 55 years and retired about 12 years ago. Mr. Albea was born in Warren County Feb, 23, 1880, the son of Thomas and Phynette Murphy Albea. He was married to Kearney Bell Brasker in 1904. She died in 1961. Surviving are two sons, Virgil and Jack, and a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Henderson, all of Covington; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will received at the Hegg Funeral Home after noon today. Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. P. J. Hamilton will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
