WALLACE — Kenneth F. Adkins, 47, died of a heart attack at work in Kingman Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. He was born Feb. 6, 1918, near Veedersburg to Mr. and Mrs. George Adkins. He was married to Kathleen Bruner Jan. 24, 1940. Mr. Adkins was a member of the Freedom Christian Congregational Church, the Wallace Masonic Lodge No. 495, the Wallace Low 12 Club, the Wallace Volunteer fire department, vice-president of the Wallace High School Alumni Association and organizer of the Wallace Little League baseball program. He worked at a hardware store in Kingman for several years. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry F. and John H., both at home; a brother, Leslie, of Rockville and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Babb, of Crawfordsville. Services will be at the Freedom Christian Congregational Church. Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro after 1 p.m. Thursday. WALLACE — Funeral rites for Kenneth Adkins were held Friday at Freedom Christian Church with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Favorite piano selections were played by Mrs. Mildred Myers. Pallbearers were Dick Dawson, Kenneth Overpeck, Carl Duncan, Earl Summers and Harold Breeden.
