ADAMS, Mattie Stalions - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mattie M. Stalions Adams of Lafayette died Wednesday, February 2, in Lafayette Healthcare Center. She was born and reared in Kentucky. In 1906, she married James J. Adams, who died in 1958. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Newtown and had lived at Newtown for several years before moving to Lafayette.

  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lowell Brier and Miss Amy Adams, both of Lafayette.

  Funeral services were held Saturday at Soller-Baker Funeral Home in Lafayette with Dr. Joseph C. Wick officiating. Burial was in Newtown Cemetery. – thanks to S
