VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Flossie Adair, 70, died Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. She had been a patient there one week and had undergone surgery. Born May 25, 1890, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of John and Clara Watts Foster. She was twice married. Her first marriage was to Everett Fouts, who preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Mont Adair, who survives. Mrs. Adair was a member of the New Richmond First Christian Church. Survivors in addition to her husband includes two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Haynes and Mrs. Helen Forrest, both of Veedersburg; a son, Paul Fouts of Newport; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lorraine Adair of Hazard, Ky., a brother, Harry Foste of Balboa, Calif., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at Fishero Funeral Home here with Rev. Conley Rowland in charge. Interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Veedersburg - funeral rites for Mrs. Flossie Adair were held Tuesday afternoon at Fishero Funeral Home with Rev. Conley Roaland officiating. Selected hymns were played by Mrs. Gretchen Minnich, organist and as special selections, Garden of Prayer and My Faith Looks up to Thee. A favorite poem of the deceased was read during the services. Serving as pallbearers and flower bearers were Wayne Florey, Earl Potter, Loren Sandifer, Robert Forrest, William Thompson and Harold Michaels. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. --transcribed by kbz

Born in Wabash many years, moving to Veedersburg, a year ago. She was a member of the First Christian Church, New Richmond. She was first married to Everett Fouts. After his death she married Mont Adair. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Haynes and Mrs. Helen Forrest, both of Veedersburg; one stepdaughter, Miss Loraine Adair of Hazard, Ky; one son, Paul Fouts of Newport and one brother, Harry Foster of Balboa, Calif. --transcribed by kbz
