ZUFALL, Mable Hess Campbell

Williamsport—Mable Hess Zufall, 87, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 1989 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Attica, where she had been a resident since September 1987. She was born Jan. 29, 1901, in Sidell, Ill., the daughter of Lewis and Cora Black Hess. She was married Dec. 10, 1919 in Warren County to H. B. Campbell Jr., who preceded her in death in 1927. On Dec. 10, 1932, she married Ralph L. Zufall, who preceded her in death in 1974. They owned Zufall Insurance and Abstract office for 40 years.
  She graduated from Williamsport High School and lived in Williamsport most of her life. She served a term as Warren County Recorder and was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. She was also a 50-year member of OES West Lebanon Lodge 162 and a charter member of the Williamsport Business and Professional Women’s Club.
  Surviving are three sons, Larry L. Zufall and Grant G. Campbell, both of Williamsport, and Thomas R. Campbell, Route 1, Williamsport; three daughters, Miriam C. Stump and Lois Ellen Brier, Williamsport, and Mrs. Guy (Dema) Fisher, West Lebanon; 24 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, a grandson, a great granddaughter, a brother, Lewis, and a sister, Cora Black Hess.
     Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday in Fisher Funeral Home Chapel, Williamsport, with the Rev. Don Williams officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. – thanks to s
