VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Laura L. Zoellick, 56, of 203 Crestwood, Tilton, Ill., died at 12:20 p.m. Jan. 5, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient since Nov. 14. She had been in ill health four years. She had lived at the Crestwood address for 24 years. Born Aug. 20, 1912, in Veedersburg, she was a daughter of John Henry and Mary Anette Dye Clift. Her schooling was at Veedersburg. She was married in Veedersburg in 1936 to Arklus Piercefield who preceded her in death in 1952. She was married Nov. 20, 1956, in Danville to Carl E. Zoellick who survives. Also surviving are a step-son, LaVerne Zoellick of Waukesha, Wis.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Diana Snyder of Waukesha; a brother, Charles Clift of Veedersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Esther Cowan and Mrs. Florence Grimes both of Veedersburg, and Mrs. Sally Hoover of Crawfordsville, Ind., and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and two sisters. Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Pape Memorial Home. The Rev. Maurice Gritton officiated.
