ZIMMERMAN, Henry - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Henry Zimmerman, 87, died Saturday morning at 5:30 o'clock at his home in Covington. He had been in failing health the past two years, seriously ill the last two months. Death was attributed to complications and the infirmities of age.  Born Feb 14, 1860 in Harrison County, he was the son of George and Elizabeth Metz Zimmerman. Surviving are the widow Flora, three son, Fred of Covington, William of Rockport, Ill and George of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Cross of Clifty, Ind; Mrs. Catherine McCannon of Indianapolis and Mrs. Minnie Cade of Covington, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Crumley & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Powell in charge of Rev. Kenneth Powell in charge (sic).  Burial in Patterson Cemetery at St. Joseph, Illinois.   --- thanks
