ZIEGLER, Charles E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

KINGMAN – Charles E. Ziegler, 87, of near Kingman, died Tuesday at the home of his son, John, near Yeddo. He was born in Fountain County Feb. 6, 1882, a son of John and Mary Lang Ziegler. On Feb. 25, 1913 he was married to Anna Walter, who preceded him in death Aug. 25, 1957. Mr. Ziegler was a retired farmer and was a member of the Centennial EUB Church. Survivors include the son; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Downs of near Hillsboro, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters and a grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodrow Funeral Home here, with Rev. Bennett Fulp of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington.
