Attica – Mrs. Ruby Ellen Zick, 37 of Rt 3, Covington died Tuesday afternoon in Lakeview Memorial Hospital, Danville, Ill after a year’s illness. She was a patient there a week. Born in Montgomery County, she was married in 1946 to Gerald Zick and was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. Surviving with the husband are two daughter, Kay and Joan and two sons, Thomas and Everett, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Charles Lewis of Crawfordsville, two brothers, Fred and Robert Lewis, both of Crawfordsville and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Stites and Mrs. Eldon Proffitt both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Bill Long in Japan. - kbz

ATTICA --- Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Zick, age 34, were held Friday afternoon, May 29, at the Roemer Funeral Home here. She died at 12:28 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill. Mrs. Zick was born Oct. 26, 1929 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Charles and Emma Lewis. She was married in May, 1946, to Gerald Zick, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the husband are: her mother, Mrs. Emma Lewis of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Kay, age 17, and Joan, 16; two sons, Tom, 13, and Everett, 9; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Stites and Mrs. Helen Proffitt, both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Violet Long of Japan; two brothers, Fred and Bo Lewis, both of Crawfordsville, and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Edna Zink of Covington. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lewis, and 12 brothers and sisters
