Neal Zick, 43-year-old former Crawfordsville resident, died about 7 a.m. Wednesday in a Cleveland, Ohio, hospital. Mr. Zick had resided in Willard, Ohio, about 10 years and had been employed at the R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. plant there during that time. A native of Newtown, he was a son of Arthur and Lillian Shultz Zick. He was married to the former Barbara Stewart of Crawfordsville, who survives. He was a graduate of Newtown High School and had served in the U.S. Army. Surviving in addition to the widow are an aunt, Mrs. Robert Douglas of New Market, and two uncles, Monroe Shultz of Newtown, and Frank R. Shultz of Cincinnati. Funeral services for Neal Zick, former Crawfordsville resident, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Secor Funeral Home at Willard, Ohio. Burial will be in the Newtown Cemetery with graveside rites tentatively set for 3 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Zick, who moved to Willard about 10 years ago, died Wednesday morning in a Cleveland hospital after an extended illness. He was 43 and a native of Newtown.   --typed by Walt W

Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Newtown, Ind. (CNS)—Neal Zick, 43, a native of Newtown died at a Cleveland, Ohio, Hospital yesterday (Jan. 11, 1967) after surgery. He was born Aug. 20, 1923, the son of Arthur and Lillie Schultz Zick. He was a 1941 graduate of Newtown High, attended Washington University at St. Louis, Mo., and was a veteran of World War II. He married Barbara Stewart of Crawfordsville Aug. 18, 1946 and she survives. He was employed at Donnelly & Sons in Crawfordsville 25 years. Survivors include an uncle, Monroe Shultz of Newtown.   --typed by Walt W
