Covington—Ruth Zeigler, 82, Route 3, Covington, died Saturday morning, April 1, 1989, at her home
She was born March 3, 1907 in Fountain County, the daughter of Bertie and Myrtia Greenley Hershberger. She was married June 24, 1925 to Glenn A. Zeigler, who preceded her in death April 19, 1973.
She was a life resident of the Salem community and a member of Salem United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed quilting and all handiwork.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Dorothy) Walters, Route 4, Veedersburg; two sons, Harold E., Route 3, Covington, and Robert E., Ellensburg, Wash.; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gerald (Mae) LaBaw, Route 4, Veedersburg, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Paul Ziebert and the Rev. Wayne Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington. -thanks to S
