Veedersburg—Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport for Mrs. Ouida L. Zachery, 57, of Veedersburg Route 2. She died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 1973 in Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient since April 19.
The Rev. Everett White officiated with burial in West Lebanon Cemetery. Born at Seventy-Six, Kentucky, May 1, 1916, she was the daughter of Albert and Ada Wells Thomas. She was married Nov. 26, 1938, in Bridstown Tenn., to James Alfred Zachery, who died April 15, 1972.
She had resided in Indiana for 32 years, 25 of which were spent in the Judyville area.
Mrs. Zachery was a member of the New Century Church of Veedersburg and was active in Ladies Aid and Veedersburg Home Craft Club. She was pianist at the Judyville United Methodist Church for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Terry of Veedersburg Route 2 and James and Mick, both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Gweneth Keith of Indianapolis and Mrs. Jaquita Richardson of Springfield, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Lee and Mrs. Zada Brown, both of Albany, Ky., and Mrs. Pernie Neathery of Hoopeston; five brothers, Bethel Thomas of Williamsport Route 2, Corban Thomas and Conley Thomas, both of Virginia. Ill., and Delmer Thomas and Randall Thomas, both of Hoopeston; and 10 grandchildren.
