ZACHARY, Elta Mae Stewart - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Elta Mae ZACHARY 79 died at 7:18 a.m. Sunday in the home of a son, Lester, 415 Crawford Street, Crawfordsville after an illness of 3 months. She was a Putnam County native born July 12, 1883 to John W. and Sarah Jones Stewart and married Walter Zachary Dec 6, 1900 in Montgomery County. Surviving are 3 sons: Lester and Gerald of New Ross and James of Roachdale; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ethel Smith of Russellville and 14 grandchildren and 10 greats. The husband and two sons, Newton and Lloyd preceded her. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Noble Reeves Funeral Home here with Rev. Ray Britton of Roachdale officiating.  Interment will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
