YOUNT, Priscilla Catterson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg - Mrs. Priscilla YOUNT, 81, mother of the late Hannibal C. Yount, a prominent lawyer and politician of Covington died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dolly Morehouse northeast of this city Monday morning. Mrs. Young has been in poor health for the past winter suffering from Bright's disease which caused her death.. She was the widow of Matthias Young who preceded her in death several years ago. The deceased is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Dolly Morehouse of near this city, Mrs. Viola Whole of Mellott, and Mrs. India Little of Tipton. Her two sons Napoleon and Hannibal having passed away the former about 26 years ago and the latter only a few years prior to his mother's death. Mrs. Young was a kind loving mother and good friend to all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted from the Mellott Church Wednesday morning at 9.
