Dies Unexpectedly, Rites Held Saturday

Joseph A. Younghusband, age 51, of 1017 Orchard Drive, a resident of Covington since 1956, died unexpectedly at 10:45
p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at his home. Death was attributed to a heart condition.
Mr. Younghusband was born Dec. 3, 1913, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of John William and Anna Rowson Younghusband. He was married Sept. 22, 1934 to 'Margaret Mohr, who survives.
He had resided at Clinton, Iowa, until 1951. He was a graduate of Clinton High School and had been employed by the Olin Mathieson" Chemical Corp., for 15 years. He had been supervisor of Castings at the Covington plant. He resided at Brevard, N,. C., for five years before coming to Covington.
Mr. Younghusband was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Clinton, Iowa, and the Danville Elks Lodge 332.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two daughters, Mrs. John (Diane) Lawson of Danville, Ill., and Miss Carol Jo Younghusband of San Francisco, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Miller of Clinton, Iowa, and Mrs. Helen Peters of Bettendorf,  Iowa; two half brothers, George and William Bennett, both of Clinton, Iowa; and one half sister, Mrs. Ada Boch, also of Clinton.
Funeral services were beld at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Paul V. Nelson officiated.
The body' was taken to the Snell-Smith Funeral Home in Clinton, Iowa for services at 2 p.rn. Monday. Burial was in Clinton Memorial Park.
