Cates - Mrs. Odilla May (Sally) Younger, 64, died Sunday morning at her home here. She was born near here July 6, 1902, a daughter of William and Evaline Allen Ricketts. She married Stanley Younger Dec 3, 1917. Mrs. Younger was a member of the Cates Nazarene Church. She was a former resident of Bedford and Brownsburg. She had lived here the past 9 months. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Cenith Blacketer of Cates and Mrs. Ruby Whiteman of Brownsburg and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband June 28, 1954; a son, two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine & Shelby, Covington with Rev. EV Wamsley officiating. Burial in Coal Creek Cemetery.
Cates, Ind -- Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington for Mrs. Odilla May (Sally) Younger, 64, of Cates. Mrs. Younger died early Sunday May 28, 1967 at her home. The Rev. E.V. Wamsley will officiate with burial in Coal Creek Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home this evening. Mrs. Younger was born July 6, 1902 nar Cates, a daughter of William and Evaline Allen Ricketts. She was married Dec 3, 1917 to Stanley Younger who preceed her June 28, 1954. She is survived by two sisters, Cenith Blacketer of Cates and Ruby Whiteman of Brownsburg and several nieces. Mrs. Younger was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and 4 sisters. She was a member of Church of Nazarene at Cates and lived at Bedford and Brownsburg before moving to Cates 9 months ago.
