Parke F. Youngblood, 56, of Cayuga, died Sunday Feb 23 in St. Elizzbeth Hosp in Danville, Ill where he had been a patient two weeks. Mr. Youngblood was born near Kingman on June 29, 1911 the son of Owen and Helen Hixon Youngblood. He was married to Connie Miller who survives. He was employed as a mech at Clark Chevrolet in Cayuga. He was a member of the Cayuga Christian Church and Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite of Terre Haute. Survivors in addition to the wife are his mother in Cayuga; two sons, Bill of Cayuga and Bo of Columbus; a half brother, Maurice Hobson of Dade City Fla; two sisters Mrs. Mary Kathryn Poling of Rockville and Mrs. Beulah King of Anderson and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today, Feb 26 at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. The Rev. Bill Nash officiated and burial was in Centennial Cemetery.
