YOUNG, Silas P. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Silas P. Young of RR 4, Veedersburg, age 82, died Friday evening, April 8, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born at Somerset, Kentucky, April 7, 1901, the son of Henderson and Katherine Himes Young. October 21, 1951, he married Evadna Morgan, who survives. Young was a member of Stone Bluff United Methodist Church and had been employed as a farmer, a grinder at Harrison Steel Casting Company in Attica and at Stone Bluff Elevator.

  Also surviving is a son, Michael of Goshen.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Wayne Hoover officiating. Burial was in Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff. – thanks to S
