Daniel J. Young, 76, Indianapolis, died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at Community Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born February 8, 1907 in Attica, he was the son of Daniel R. and Mabel Grace Bridge Young. On May 19, 1928, he married Jean C. Campbell of Jeffersonville, who survives. A graduate of Attica High School and Wentworth Military Academy, he moved to Indianapolis in 1976 where he worked in advertising and for many years was in charge of the Indianapolis Home Show. He had been an active member of the Jaycees.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald Sinkin of Long Island, New York; three sons, Dan, David and John, all of Indianapolis; his stepmother, Mrs. Grace Young of Princeton; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial services were conducted Saturday at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. The family requested that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Heart Fund of Cancer Society.- thanks to S
