Veedesrburg - E. Clyde Young, 60, a former resident of Veedersburg died Wed morning of heart seizure while at work at the Northeast Lumber Company in Indianapolis. He had been an employee of the county for 10 years. Born in Veedersburg Oct 16, 1896, Mr. Young was the son of William B. and Mary Fine Young. He was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church, Knights of Pythias Lodge. He was a graduate of Veedersburg HS. Survivors include two sisters, Ada and Nellie Young of Indianpoalis with whom Mr. Young made his home, 4 brothers, Frank of Redwood Falls, MN: Irva of Indianapolis and John and Walter of Crawfordsville. Arrangements for the funeral are incomplete.

Clyde Young, 60 died at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 10, 1957 while at work for a lumber company in Indianapolis. Death resulted from a heart attack.  He was born in Veedersburg Oct 16, 1896 the son of William and Mary Fine Young and graduated from Veedersburg HS. He was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church and Knights of Pythias Lodge.  Surviving are four brothers: Frank of Redwood Falls, Minn; Irva of Indianapolis; John and Walter both of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Ada and Nellie Young of Indianapolis with whom he made his home and many cousins, nieces and nephews in this locality .  The body will be taken to the Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville on Friday where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o’clock.  Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. – kbz
