YOUNG, Albert H. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Albert Henry Young, 32, of Veedersburg, former Stone Bluff resident and veteran of WWII died Thursday night Oct 16 at Hines Veteran Administration Hospital where he had admitted to surgery for brain tumor. He had been in failing health several months. Mr. Young was born sept 16, 1920 near Waynetown son of Wright and Lena Hanley Young. He was married in 1942 to Mary King of Veedersburg who survives. The Youngs had made their home in Veedersburg the past 10 years. Also surviving are two children, Gayle Marie & Michael Gilbert at home; the parents of Stone Bluff; a brother, Willard of Boswell and 5 sisters, Mesdames Anna Farley of Near Covington, Minnie Ellen Ciardy of W. Lebanon, Nine Payne of Stone BLuff, Betty karlson of Attica and Ruth Eacret of Stone Bluff. Funeral services wer eheld Sunday afternoona t Stone BLuff EUB Church with Rev. Harry Smith officiating. The military burial was in Osborn Prairie Cemetery with Fishero Funeral Home in charge.
