VOORHEES, Norma Allen Case - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

RILEYSBURG — Norma Jean Voorhees, 76, died unexpectedly Aug. 9, 2007. She was born Sept. 21, 1930, the daughter of Dallas Ray and Abigail Irene (Kiger) Newnum. She first married Andrew Jackson Allen Jr. Oct. 1, 1949. They divorced in 1977. She later married Warren Case (deceased) of Rockville. She leaves behind her husband, Don Voorhees, Rileysburg. Survivors, besides her husband, include: her children, Loretta (Mike) Suiters, Mary Ann (Jackie D.) Bowling, Laura (Dennis) Black, all of Covington, Anita (Gary) Spain, Ohio, Andy (Janette) Allen, Rockville, and Linda (Darrell) Holycross, Veedersburg; two sisters, Sharon (Bob) Huxford, Covington and Betty (Floyd) Evans, Crawfordsville; a brother, Gary (Donna) Newnum, Covington; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. At Norma's request, cremation was chosen with no services or viewing. – jlr
