-- Mrs. Mary T. VOORHEES, widow of Peter Voorhees died at her home in Danville, Ill last Monday evening at age of 7 4.  Her husband was a brother of US Senator Daniel W. Voorhees of Indian a. Before her marriage she was Miss Mary Button.  The local press and her many friends speak of her as having been of those sweetly dispositioned women whose presence seem always to scatter smiles and good cheer among those with whom she came into contact, generous and charitable she was as h er large means enabled her to be. All in all she was evidently an exemplary Christian woman with all the sweetness of character which that implies. The Voohees family once collected near Veedersburg are now scattered all part of the US though several of the name still dwell in Fountain County.- kbz
