VOLLMER, Charles Francis

Charles Francis Volmer, 65, a farmer of the Veedersburg community, died at his home, Route 3, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 1961.  He had been in poor health for about two years and seriously ill for the past three weeks.
Born at Ambia May 23, 1895, he was a son of Fred and Cora Arter Volmer.  He was married in 1921 to Margaret Grimes, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alberta Hayden of Lexington Park, Md., Mrs. Dons Keefe of Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Shirley Robbins of Veedersburg, and three sons, Fred of Covington, Lavon of Veedersburg, and Gary of the U.S. Army in Virginia.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg.  The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated.  Interment was in the Mt Hope Cemetery at Covington.
