VIBBERT, W. Lloyd - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  W. Lloyd Vibbert, 68, RR 1, Covington, died at 10:04 p.m. Saturday, December 17, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Illinois.

  Born February 24, 1915 in Leslie, Kentucky, he was the son of William and Elizabeth Lavina Vibbert. On December 24, 1936 he married Marcella Siddens in State Line, who survives. A farmer, he had lived near Covington since 1971 and prior to that lived in the State Line and Foster areas. He was a life member of Covington VFW Post 2395.

  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William Williamson of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, William “Bud” Vibbert of Montrose, Colorado, and Raymond C. Vibbert of Spottsville, Kentucky; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Randles of Covington; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

  Services were conducted Tuesday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Robert H. Miller officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington. – thanks to S
