Everett D. Verhey, 55, of 310 E. Jackson St, Attica died Thursday Aug 13, 1992 in United Samaritan Med Center, Danville, Ill. Born in Fountain County April 22, 1937, he attended Veedersburg HS. He lived most of his life in Attica. He married Lemeta Simonton July 12, 1969, in Williamsport. He worked at Harrison steel in Attica until he became disabled in 1985. Surviving are two sons, George and Lawrence "Sonny"; two daughters, Geneva and Lori; two sisters, Mrs. Ormal Furr and Mrs. John (Margie) King. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Visitation was two hours prior to services on Sunday at Maus with Rev Garry Jones officiating. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
