VAUGHN, Grace Jones - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Former Veeders M HV 10-1 JW Word of the death of Mrs. Grace Jones Vaughn, 78, of Hialeah, Fla., formerly of Hammond and a ten-year resident of Veedersburg, on June 26, has been received here. She had lived in Hialeah the past 45 years. Survivors include five sons, Henry and James, both of Hialeah, and Burt, Harold and William all of Hammond; and five daughters, Mrs. Albert Miller and Mrs. Alice Hawkins, both of Hammond, Mrs. Lillion Phelps of Highland, Mrs. Marie Williams of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mrs. Loran (Ruther) Brewer of Veeersburg. Thirty eight grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren also suvive. Funeal and burial took place in Hialeah.   -– jlr
