VanLEER, Arthur - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Arthur Elton “Skinny” Van Leer of Covington, age 69, died Saturday morning, December 25, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born near Marshfield, September 20, 1913, the son of Jessie and Nellie Roderick Van Leer. March 10, 1938, he married Marjorie Allison, who survives. Van Leer was a retired farmer.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Janet Price of Danville, Illinois, Marlene Conrad and Luella Ephlin, both of Covington; a son, Maurice of Sidell, Illinois; five brothers, Herbert, Francis and Richard, all of Williamsport, Howard of Fresno, California, and Merle of Covington; 12 grandchildren and a great grandson.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Fisher Funeral Home in West Lebanon with Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. – thanks so much to S&E
