ATTICA, Ind. — Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at DeSutters Funeral Home, Attica, for Ernest H. Van Hook, 74, who died at 3:45 p.m. yesterday (Nov. 22, 1968) at Lake View Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 13, 1894, in Covington, he was the son of Arlandis and Emma Bonnett Van Hook. He was married Oct. 2, 1915, to Clista Ward, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Fletcher of Veedersburg; Mrs. Devonia Towel of Danville and Mrs. Yvonne Martin of Northridge, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Kern and Mrs. Lista Smith, both of Covington, and Mrs. Pearl Swanson of California; a step-son, 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A member of the Attica Masonic Lodge, he was employed for 43 years at Harrison Steel Casting Co. of Attica. He retired in 1960. He attended the Christian Church of Covington. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Riverside Cemetery in Attica. The Rev. Harry Randolph will officiate. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday. -- typed by Walt W
