Mary Lee (Denhart)
Vanegas, 59, of San Diego, California, formerly, of rural Veedersburg, died
Friday, September 8, 2000 in San Diego, after a 1½-year battle with cancer.
Born October 29, 1940 in Danville, Illinois, she was the daughter of Walter H.
and Elizabeth (Harmeson) Denhart. She married David Vanegas in California. He
survives. Also surviving, are: her mother, Elizabeth Denhart of rural
Veedersburg; a son, Ron Vanegas and a daughter, Michelle Vanegas, both of San
Diego; three brothers, Richard (Pat) Denhart and Doug (Jannie) Denhart, both of
rural Veedersburg and Robert (Mary Elaine) Denhart of Covington; She was
preceded in death by her father. Mary Lee graduated from. Perrysville High
School in 1958, Utterback and Brown Business School Danville and charm school
in Indianapolis She moved to California and worked at a San Diego bank and
retiring from the San Diego school system in 1999 due to ill health. She loved
bowling, visiting friends and going to movies. Funeral services was Tuesday at
Assembly of God Church in San Diego. The body will be cremated. – jlr
