ATTICA — Funeral services for Frederick Van Dame, age 70, of 1203 S. McDonald, who died at the Community Hospital, Williamsport, at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
Mr. Van Dame was born March 9, 1894 in Odell, the son of Joseph and Matilda Devink Van Dame. He was married in Williamsport Oct. 16, 1919, to Golda Butts, who sµrvives. He was a veteran of World War I , and an employee of Harrison '
Steel Castings Co. He retired five years ago for health reasons. He was a member of the American Legion Post at Newtown.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: three sons, Norman of Nashville, Tenn., Charles Lee of Williamsport and Fredrick of Attica Rt. 4; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Holycross of Danville, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Josie Kiser of Covington, Mrs. Joe Green, Mrs. Howard Dillman and Mrs. Maggie Butz, all of Attica; and 11 grandchildren.
