Van DORN, Edward - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Edward VanDorn, 74, life resident of Veedersburg died at noon Friday Jan 2 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been a patient since Tuesday. Mr. VanDorn was born in Fountain County Feb 2, 1878 the son of George and Mary Diffendaffer Van Dorn. He married Agnes Roberts, who preceded him in death. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alewein Hill of Lebanon, Ind; a son, George of Veedersburg; 3 grandchildren, a brother, Sam of Covington and isster, MRs. Minnie Lowe of near Attica. Services wer eheld at the Parham Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Samuel Pritchard of the EUB Church officiating. Burial in Rockfield Cemetery. Mr. VanDorn was a state highway employee.
