Vera W. Utterback, 93, Crawfordsville died 8:25 a.m. Tuesday at Ben Hur Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Utteraback had worked 26 years at Raybestos Productsw working in the Tool Crib Department. She retired in 1981. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Crawfordsville. She also was a member of Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge, VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, Rebecca Lodge and Wabash Club. She graduated from Wallace HS in 1933. She was born March 12, 1915 in Fountain County, to Charles W. and Minnie (Davis) Watson. Survivors include sons C Mike Utterback, Waynetown and Ramon L (Patricia) Utterback, Nashville; daughter Beverly McCollum, Crawfordsville; sister Mary Carpenter, Wallace; 5 grandchildren; two step grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd and Frank Watson, sister Avaline Hendricks and her parents. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home with Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. Friends may call noon - 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
