Freeman Franklin Upchurch, age 89, of Veedersburg, died at 3:30 p. m. Monday, June 19, at the home of his foster daughter, Mrs. Adabell Clouse of 402 Home St., Veedersburg. Born March 29, 1872 in Wayne County, Ky., he was the son of Henry and Susie Hurt Upchurch. He settled in Indiana in 1930. His wife, Martha, preceded him in death in 1950. Also preceding were four brothers and three sisters. Survivors are his foster daughter and a sister, Mrs. Ida Brunette of Indiana, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Sterling Christian Church with the Rev. William Aimsworth officiating. Burial was in the Bonebrake Cemetery with the Woodrow Funeral Home of Kingman in charge. --typed by Walt W

The body was taken to the Woodrow Funeral Home. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Sterling Christian Church with the Rev. William Ainsworth officiating. Burial was made in the Bone'brake Cemetery.
