TUTTLE, Alfred A. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Alfred A. Tuttle of RR 2, Covington, age 80, died Sunday morning, February 6, in the emergency room of St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born north of Eugene, July 31, 1902, the son of George and Alice Downing Tuttle. August 10, 1922, he married Mary Huff, who survives. A member of Rileysburg Christian Church, he was a machinist with Holmes Brothers prior to retiring in 1969.

  Also surviving are three sons, Ralph, Richard, and Phillip, all of Danville; a brother, Clarence of Detroit; 10 grandchildren, a step granddaughter and six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Danville with Rev. David E. Hastings officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville.
