TUNIN, Mamie Barker - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mayme Tunin, 80, a resident of Yeddo, on Kingman Rt 1, was found dead at 8 a.m Monday, April 4 by her daughter, Mrs. Esther Robinson. Death was attributed to natural causes. Born July 1, 1890 in Indiana, she was the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Shoaf Barker. She was married March 25, 1908 to Claude Tunin, who died Apriil 14, 1966. She was a life resident of the Kingman area. Survivors include a son, Fred of Terre Haute; her daughter, Mrs. Esther Robinson of Kingman Rt 1, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchidren. She was preceded in death by a son and three brothers. Services were at 4 p.m. at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.   -- kbz
