Kingman - Cecil Tunin, 92, formerly of Kingman died at 11:05 a.m. Jan 10, 1995 at Williamsburg Healthcare, Crawfordsville. He had been a resident there the past few years. He was born 3 miles east of Kingman on Nov 27, 1902 the son of Robert and Nancy Elizabeth Osborn Tuning. On June 4, 1924 he married Bessie Arvin. She preceded Nov 9, 1991. He retired from farming in Kingman area. He and his wife moved to Waynetown in the 1970s. He was a 1923 graduate of Kingman HS and member of the Kingman IOOF Lodge over 55 years. Surviving are two sons, Donald; Richard (Dick); two daughters, Nancy (Harold) Worley; Carol (John) Pendleton; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodrow Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Sparks of Waynetown officiating assisted by Kenneth Majors of Kingman. Burial in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
