Funeral services for Arthur A. Tullis, age 75, of Danville, Ill., father of William Tullis of Attica and Mrs. George Hite and Mrs. George DeZarn, both of Perrysville, who died Monday afternoon, March 14, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hoopeston, Ill. Burial was in Floral Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tullis, who has been ill a long time, was born in Hoopeston, Ill., June 13, 1890, the son of John and Elizabeth Dukes Tullis. He was employed several years at the Malleable Iron works at Hoopeston and later at U. S. Steel Corp. in Gary. Survivors include: three sons, William of Attica, LeRoy of Hoopeston and Charles with the U. S. Air Force in Thailand; two daughters, Mrs. Hite and Mrs. DeZarn of Perrysville, 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, William Tullis of Graham, Tex., and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Hankins of Lafayette. -– jlr
