Hillsboro—Katherine Louise Steiner Troxel, 60, 209 Waters St., Hillsboro, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 1989 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette.

  She was born Sept. 28, 1928 in Lafayette, and spent most of her life in the West Point area before moving to Hillsboro three years ago. She was married April 12, 1947 in Lafayette to Wayman D. “Bud” Troxel, who survives. He is retired from the Lafayette Post Office.

  She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Lutheran Church.

  Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Anthony, David and Mark, all of Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Sandra) Rhymer, North Judson; Mrs. Neale (Jeanne) Moosey, Zionsville, and Mrs. Mickey (Lori) Irwin, Hillsboro; four sisters, Mrs. Richard (Anne) Kemery, Fremont; Mrs. Jimmie (Selma) Moore, West Point; Mrs. George (Hazel) Braun, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Henry (Virginia) Wagner, Winamac; three brothers, Robert Steiner, Crawfordsville; John Steiner, West Lafayette, and Joe Steiner, Lafayette, and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

  Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hippensteel Chapel with the Rev. Daniel P. May officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, near Attica. -s
