Veedersburg—Phyllis Maxine Trott, 75, Route 1, Veedersburg, died at 10:48 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 1989 at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill. She had been ill 10 days.
She was born April 7, 1914 at Scottville, Mich., the daughter of George Bruce and Sarah Helen Barron Lawson. She had lived most of her life in Fountain County, had formerly lived in Shawnee Township and had resided at Route 1, Veedersburg the past 18 years. She was married Nov. 7, 1931 in Covington to Floyd L. “Tuffy” Trott, who preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1975.
She was a graduate of Covington High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church and the Fountain Willing Workers.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Patricia) Crumrin, Route 1, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Greg (Jeri Sue) White, Dillsburg, Pa.; a brother, George Ivan Lawson, Route 3, Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Viola Campbell, Rockville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Maus Funeral Home Chapel, Attica with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in East Union Christian Cemetery, near Newtown. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Monday. – thanks to S
