Mrs. Esther Trosper, 63, of 1810 Cannon, died at 1:25 p.m. yesterday (Aug. 22, 1966) in Lake View Memorial where she had been a patient one day. She had resided at the Cannon address a year and in Danville two years. Born Feb. 17, 1903, in Warren County, Ind., she was a daughter of Samuel and Nora Clapp Adams. Surviving are a son, Paul Long of Williamsport, Ind.; two stepsons, John Trosper of Danville and Mike Trosper of Long Beach, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Bartlow and Mrs. Barbara Huffman, both of Danville; a brother, James Adams of Williamsport, Ind., 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a niece. Mrs. Trosper was preceded in death by her first husband and her second husband, Orville Trosper, in 1964. She was a member of the Central Christian Church, the Ladies Aid Society, the Keep-at-It Sunday School Class and Iris Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home with Dennis Fulton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington, Ind. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. --typed by Walt W
