TROBAUGH, George - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg, Sept 6 - Geo. Trobaugh, long a resident of Veedersburg, died Monday (September 6, 1943) at noon in an Indianapolis hospital where he had been a patient for the past three months. Previously, Mr. Trobaugh had been employed in a local brick plant. Mr. Trobaugh was born at Leavenworth, Ind., December 2, 1873, the son of Bryant and Sarah Collins Trobaugh. He was married to Lilly Butt. Survivors include Mrs. Ellis Alliston, Veedersburg, a daughter; Charles Trobaugh, St. Paul, Minn., a son; two brothers, Frank, of Veedersburg, and Alvin, of Fredonia; and one sister, Mrs. Tisha Cox, Belleville, Ill. The body was returned to the Fishero funeral home at Veedersburg.
