Bryant Trobaugh was born in Harrison County, Ind., March 1, 1830 and died in Veedersburg, Ind., Sept. 24, 1907, aged 77 years, 6 months, and 23 days. His early life was spent in the county of his birth, but for the last 13 years he has resided in Veedersburg. In 1863 he was united in marriage to Sarah Collins. To this union there were born 11 children, two of whom preceded him to the Better Land, the remainder, 4 boys and 5 girls, are still living. Several years ago he gave his heart to God and joined the U.B. denomination at the Centennial church of which he was a member at the time of his death. He was a good citizen, a kind father and died in the triumphs of a living faith. He leaves besides his children, an aged companion, one brother, three sisters and many friends to look on through the wish of years to the glad reunion in the Great Beyond. The funeral was held Wednesday, services being conducted in the Bonebrake church by Rev. C.B. Smith after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near by.
