Mrs. Dailie Opal Todd, 71, of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, died Wednesday at 11:40 p.m. at her home following an illness of one year. Mrs. Todd had been active in church work at the Mt. Zion EUB Church. She was a past president of the Woman's Society of World Service and a Sunday school teacher. A Wallace native, Mrs. Todd was born Dec. 30, 1894, to Joseph and Mary Livingstone Cory. She married Carl S. Todd April 2, 1919, and they have lived in Montgomery County since that time. Surviving, besides her husband, are six sons, Rev. Robert Todd of Indianapolis, Dr. Glen C. Todd of Laurel, Md., John P. Todd of Lowell, Ind., David L. Todd of Rt. 4, Joseph E. Todd of CMR 9 and Lloyd M. Todd of Rt. 4; two daughters, Mrs. David L. Thompson, Rt. 3, and Mrs. Maurice Merrell of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Frazer of New Richmond and Mrs. Jennie McElwee of Covington and 21 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies and Rev. James Richard Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday. --typed by Walt W
