TOBIN, Henry Fred - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Henry Fred Tobin, 72, former Harrison Steel Castings Co. executive died at 9:35 p.m. Monday in Lake View Hospital at Danville, Ill following an illness of three months.  Mr. Tobin was born Aug 10, 1884 in Cleveland, Ohio.  He came to Attica Aug 4, 1911 and became associated with the Harrison Steel Castings Co where  he served 43 years until his retirement on July 30, 1954.  He married Nettie Redman Nov 20, 1913 and she survives. Mr. Tobin was a member of the Attica Masonic and Eastern Star lodges. Surviving are a son, Henry Jr. of Rensalaer; two daughter, Mrs. Janet Ewing of Wabash and Mrs. Kathleen Tabor of Danville, Ill; a brother, Ernest of Willoughby Hill, Ohio and two grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Lynn Hiernoymous officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. – kbz
