Perry Francis Timmons, 71, retired farmer died at his home near Attica, Friday at 1:20 p.m. from the effects of a paralytic stroke. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Timmons and was born south of Covington Feb 17, 1861 living in that vicinity the greater part of his life. The body was taken to the Crumley & Son Funeral Home in Covington where it remained until Sunday and the funeral services were held there Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in charge of Rev. OW McGaughey of Veedersburg, pastor of the Covington Christian Church with burial at White’s cemetery south of Covington. Mr. Timmons was survived by the widow, Amanda Timmons and other relatives.

Mrs. George Lucas and son, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Lucas of Hillsboro attended the funeral service of the former’s brother, Frank Timmons which was held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Covington Sunday afternoon. Mr. Timmons died at his home near Attica.
