Mrs. Mary Francis Timmons, age 77, of Attica, sister of Mrs. Josephone Kiser, a former Covington resident now residing in Marshfield, died Friday morning, Nov. 3, in the Williamsport Community Hospital, where she had been a patient 24 hours following ill health. Mrs. Timmons was born Feb. 14, 1884, in Fountain County, a daughter of Joseph and Matilda Devink Van Dame. She was married, May 7, 1905, at Berydale to Leroy Timmons, who preceded her in death, June 26, 1956. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church. Mrs. Timmons was a life resident of Fountain County and had resided in Attica for 37 years. Survivors include a son, Thomas of Alexander, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Oursler of Williamsport, Mrs. Pauline Anderson and Mrs. Myrtle Otterman, both of Hammond; a brother, Frederick Van Dame of Attica; and four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Dillman, Mrs. Sophia Green and Mrs. Margaret Butz, all of Attica, and Mrs. Josephine Kiser of Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 9 a. m. Monday, Nov. 6, at the St. Francis Xavier Church. The Rev. Charles Remaklus officiated. Burial was in Catholic Cemetery with the DeSutter Funeral Home of Attica in charge. --typed by Walt W
