THOMPSON, Nellie Rankin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nella Thompson, 72 died at midnight Monday at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, following an illness of one month. She was hospitalized three weeks ago. Mrs. Thompson was born in Parke County Aug 18, 1884, daughter of George and Margaret Rankin. She was married to Dee Thompson in Dec 1905 and he died in 1952. She moved to Kingman in 1923 and had made her home here sincve.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Muller of Indianapolis and Miss Marjorie Thompson of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Bowers and Mrs. Hazel Smith of Whittier, Calif and Mrs. Grace Harvey of Protection, Kan; four brothers, AT Harrison of Glendale, Calif; Dr. CE Harrison and William H. Harrison both of Indianapolis and Duncan Harrison of Cates and six grandchildren.  The body was returned to the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday) at the Kingman Methodist Church. Burial will be in Wolfe Creek Cemetery. – kbz
